Truescreen and Fieldprint Changes Coming Soon

Truescreen is finalizing system updates to serve as the single, approved vendor for National Service Criminal History Checks. Truescreen will email the primary contacts of existing accounts when the update is available. We expect these updates to be available to you in mid-August.

Important notice for organizations currently using Fieldprint to conduct the FBI check: Beginning Sunday, Dec. 1, your applicants will no longer be able to complete fingerprinting for FBI checks directly through Fieldprint. If your organization does not have a Truescreen account, you will need to create one to order FBI checks through Truescreen. If you already have a Truescreen account, you will need to update your account to add the FBI check option.

Upcoming Training

AmeriCorps is hosting multiple training sessions to review the current Truescreen updates, which include ordering and adjudicating FBI checks in the Truescreen system instead of in Fieldprint. We invite you to attend one session. Some sessions are for specific grantee audiences only.

Single Vendor Truescreen Training

• All Grantees: Register
• Thursday, Aug. 15: 1-2 p.m. ET
• Wednesday, Aug. 28: 2-3 p.m. ET
• AmeriCorps Seniors Grantees: Register
• Tuesday, Aug. 13: 1-2 p.m. ET
• Tuesday, Aug. 27: 3-4 p.m. ET
• AmeriCorps State and National Grantees: Register
• Wednesday, Aug. 14: 2-3 p.m. ET
• Monday, Aug. 26: 3-4 p.m. ET

In addition, we are hosting office hours to answer your questions during the Truescreen transition period, which will end Saturday, Nov. 30. We are offering two sessions each in September and October. Office hours are open to all grantees.

Truescreen Transition Office Hours: Register

• Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2-3 p.m. ET
• Thursday, Sept. 19, 1-2 p.m. ET
• Tuesday, Oct. 8: 2-3 p.m. ET     
• Wednesday, Oct. 9: 3-4 p.m. ET
