Whether you are in school or recently graduated, have had a job or two, or have retired from a long career, anyone can serve with AmeriCorps or AmeriCorps Seniors. Learn more about what AmeriCorps service looks like and the ways service positively impacts our members and volunteers by reading their stories. Meet Geoff

Geoff served as a team leader in the AmeriCorps NCCC program. He says, "For me and many other people in this program, serving in AmeriCorps and forming [those] close connections has reminded us that service is our main drive for work. When we think about what we want to do, many considerations stand out, such as money, travel, topic of interest, skills, but what this program has reminded me is that service is the number one consideration. Everything else follows." Watch Geoff's spotlight video.

Meet Caleb

Caleb served part-time with AmeriCorps State and National while a full-time college student. He says, "My experience in Jumpstart was transformative and contributed to my personal and professional development in ways that a typical college experience could never. Because of my time at Jumpstart, I have a deeper understanding of civic engagement and a sense of civic responsibility that continues to guide my path in public service." Read Caleb's story.
