Fieldprint System Enhancements
On Tuesday, Jan. 18, Fieldprint added the following fields to its system to fully capture a grantee’s final adjudication decision:
-
Fitness Determination Viewed By
-
Grantee Adjudication Decision Made Date
-
Grantee Adjudication Decision Made By
Checks ordered before the Jan. 18 date will not include these additional fields. The Fieldprint system enhancements now support full documentation of compliance steps for AmeriCorps recipients. Grant recipients should refer to the updated Using AmeriCorps Approved Vendors Truescreen and Fieldprint Manual, which is available on the Knowledge Network. In addition, the Fieldprint AmeriCorps Grantee Guide is a new resource available on Litmos that includes the steps for completing adjudication.
Planned Update to Truescreen Platform
Truescreen will update its user platform from “1.0” to “2.0” beginning spring 2022. The 2.0 platform-wide update applies to all Truescreen clients and is not specific to AmeriCorps. Updates will primarily change the system's look and feel and should not alter the process for ordering and adjudicating checks. Truescreen will also include certain AmeriCorps-specific updates to align the system with our May 1, 2021 criminal history check rule. These updates are referenced in the FAQ section of the Using AmeriCorps Approved Vendors Truescreen and Fieldprint Manual.
The roll out of the 2.0 system will take place over several months for AmeriCorps account holders. AmeriCorps and Truescreen will inform grant recipients as they are selected for the update and will provide training on the 2.0 platform.

The Awardee Guide to NSCHC Enforcement of Cost-Based Disallowance
replaced NSCHC Enforcement Procedural Guidance. This guide supports the implementation of the NSCHC Manual, including how to assess and document cost-based disallowance for noncompliance findings. AmeriCorps requires all prime grantees to implement this guidance for NSCHC disallowance.
- The Individual Disallowance Form, NSCHC Disallowance Calculator, and the NSCHC Simple Log now support the separation of disallowance amounts between federal and grantee (match) share.
