As we continue to navigate the challenges of the pandemic and the effects on our nation’s economy, your efforts to support our communities remain extraordinary. Together, we have accomplished much in response to the needs of our communities and we look forward to getting more done.
We have a few updates to share, including information for the next sponsor call.
Changes to the VISTA Campus
We are happy to report that the VISTA Campus is undergoing a major upgrade this month. As part of the process, we are updating many of the posted resources for our sponsors and members and organizing much of the content into new learning paths and discussion forums.

What will change for you? As a sponsor, you will find new learning opportunities and ways to engage with AmeriCorps staff and other sponsors in the new Campus. And as part of the new design, you will be able to view training content posted for AmeriCorps members and leaders, including the content of the VISTA Member Orientation.

When will the change happen? The new campus will launch on Friday, June 4, and we will update you and your AmeriCorps members before the new site is live. Please note that when the new Campus launches, the current site will sunset and no longer be accessible.
Next Sponsor Call
Thank you for joining us for the April call. We appreciate your feedback in the survey. The next sponsor call will be on Wednesday, July 21, 3-4 p.m. ET. We will provide a tour of the new Campus and program updates.

VISTA Supervisor Webinar Series
The next monthly webinar for VISTA supervisors is called Planning for Sustainability. It will be presented on Tuesday, May 18, 2-3 p.m. ET. This optional session will provide examples and suggestions for working with AmeriCorps VISTA members throughout their service to establish a sustainable project. A recording of the session and presentation slides will be posted on the VISTA Campus. Register today.
Member Recruitment Outreach Webinars
The monthly outreach webinars continue to draw participants interested in learning more about serving in the VISTA program. Since March, we have hosted five events. The next webinar will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2-3 p.m. ET. Explore the schedule here.
