Thanks for your interest in the Traditional Corps - Corps Member opportunity with AmeriCorps NCCC. We are contacting you because you have indicated an interest in beginning service with us in Sept./Oct. 2020. FEMA Corps does not have a start date in the fall, so we'd like to encourage you to consider the following options instead:

Traditional Corps Fall 2020 - Our most immediate start dates are scheduled for Sept./Oct. The main difference between FEMA Corps and Traditional Corps is the type of work. While FEMA Corps teams focus on disaster preparedness and response and work mainly in office settings; Traditional Corps teams work on a variety of different, hands-on projects in many locations both indoors and outdoors. Some Traditional Corps project examples can be found here. The deadline to apply for the Traditional Corps - Team Leader position is May 31, and the deadline to apply for the Traditional Corps - Corps Member position is June 30.

FEMA Corps Winter 2021 - Our next FEMA Corps start date is scheduled for March 2021. Applications for Team Leaders and Corps Members will be open from Aug. 1 - Nov. 30.
