New Blog Posts from ORE

The Office of Research & Evaluation (ORE) recently completed a study of opportunity youth who were engaged in service as AmeriCorps members. Independent evaluator JBS International conducted an impact evaluation of the bundled programs with a goal of assessing whether participants showed greater improvements in education, employment, and civic engagement outcomes than comparison youth. Learn more in our blog post, Measuring Opportunity Youth Programs through Bundling Research & Evaluation.

We are continuing to shine a light on how our grantees develop their own national service programs with a focus on evidence and evaluation by following them on their journey from start to finish. The second blog post in the series, Building Service: A Look into CNCS Research Program Grants, focuses on each organization’s initial program development experiences, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced through the grants.
