Puerto Rico Sex Offender Registry Reporting to NSOPW.gov Again

The Puerto Rico sex offender registry began reporting to NSOPW.gov again on October 10, 2017 around 12:00 PM EDT.

The exemption CNCS granted on September 22, 2017 remains in place in case the Puerto Rico sex offender registry becomes unresponsive again as disaster recovery continues.

As a reminder, grant recipients must re-conduct all NSOPW checks performed during the time the Puerto Rico sex offender registry was not reporting to NSOPW.gov by November 15, 2017. (See the original GovDelivery message here.)

CNCS encourages all grant recipients to take this opportunity to re-conduct any NSOPW checks that did not reflect a search of the Puerto Rico sex offender registry. The supplemental NSOPW check must reflect a search of the Puerto Rico sex offender registry by the November 15 deadline. You must maintain both the on-time, incomplete NSOPW and the supplemental NSOPW results.
