2017 AmeriCorps Indian Tribes Grant Funding Opportunity

Dear Colleagues, 

The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) is announcing the opportunity for Indian Tribes to apply for AmeriCorps grant funding that will support AmeriCorps members serving in Native American communities.

The AmeriCorps funding opportunity for federally-recognized Indian Tribes is designed to target resources on a core set of challenges within: disaster services, economic opportunity, education, healthy futures, and veterans and military families.

Applications for AmeriCorps funding are due Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Successful applicants will be notified in July.

In support of the tribal grant competition, AmeriCorps will host a number of training and technical assistance phone calls, starting March 10th at 3:00 pm Eastern, and an on-site training for applicants in late April.
