The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) has a Notice of Funding Availability in the state of Washington for the Senior Corps Foster Grandparent Program (FGP). The competition is open to eligible applicants such as public agencies, including Indian tribes, and non-profit private organizations, both secular and faith-based.
The Foster Grandparent Program engages adults age 55 and over to provide experienced tutors and mentors to children and youth with special and exceptional needs who will benefit from the one-on-one attention that an FGP volunteer can provide.
In support of this competition, there are three technical assistance webinars that will be conducted prior to the application deadline, with the option to attend the second webinar in person.

To attend in person, join us at the Jackson Federal Building:
915 Second Street, Suite 3090, Seattle, WA 98174
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to go through security at the federal building. No weapons or alcohol will be permitted, but you may bring liquids such as water or coffee. There are three banks of elevators which travel to different levels of the building. Choose the middle bank, which will take you to the 30th floor.
