Dear AmeriCorps VISTA family,
Yesterday marked our last Solutions Summit honoring the 50th
Anniversary of AmeriCorps VISTA in Austin, TX. This past year we have not
only celebrated our rich history as change agents in the alleviation of poverty, but we have also tapped into the energy and innovation of our members and
stakeholders to map a bright future. Each and every day, our VISTA members
work tirelessly behind the scenes to improve the
organizations that are making a difference for communities in
need.
We honor the work of all AmeriCorps VISTA members past and
present with a new promotional video series debuting today. These
four new videos highlight the important contributions of AmeriCorps VISTA on
some of today’s greatest challenges. The videos combine the viewpoints of
AmeriCorps VISTA members with the viewpoints of local organizational and community partners.
