AmeriCorps VISTA 50th Anniversary
Texas Solutions Spotlight
The
AmeriCorps VISTA 50th Anniversary will culminate with the Texas Solutions Spotlight at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin from 3:00 – 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 3, 2015. There will be a
reception to follow.
The
event is the capstone of five regional summits taking place nationwide to
recognize AmeriCorps VISTA’s impact throughout the past, present, and future.
Local
and national experts, practitioners, AmeriCorps VISTA members, and alumni from
a cross-section of backgrounds will come together to discuss and highlight
challenges and solutions to poverty. The event will also feature some of
AmeriCorps VISTA's most successful projects to alleviate poverty in Texas.
