Today, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released an informational bulletin to provide general information to states, stakeholders, and others on the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provisions in the Working Families Tax Cut (WFTC) legislation (Public Law 119-21). This informational bulletin represents part of a series of guidance documents that CMS expects to issue to support the implementation of the WFTC legislation provisions. CMS is committed to supporting successful implementation of these transformative changes through detailed guidance, technical assistance, and ongoing partnership with state agencies.
