On June 10, 2024, New York submitted an amendment request to provide continuous eligibility to children up until age 6 who are enrolled in Medicaid and Child Health Plus (New York state's Children's Health Insurance Program). Through this amendment, New York is seeking to ensure continuous Medicaid and CHIP coverage for children during the first six years of life. The federal public comment period will be open from June 27, 2024 through July 26, 2024.
