On October 25, 2023, Maryland submitted a request to amend its section 1115 demonstration, entitled "Maryland Health Choice," to establish an Express Lane Eligibility program to utilize data from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Medicaid redeterminations, as well as to continue Maryland’s waiver of the Four Walls Requirement, as previously granted under the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. The federal public comment period will be open from November 9, 2023 through December 9, 2023.
