1115 Waiver Demonstration - Oklahoma SoonerCare Amendment

On March 8, 2023, Oklahoma requested to amend their Medicaid section 1115 demonstration entitled “SoonerCare.” This amendment requests the following: (1) Add Pregnant Women with incomes between 134 and 185 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) converted to the Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) equivalent plus applicable disregards under the Demonstration for the purpose of enrolling in the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model; (2) Extend the retroactive eligibility waiver exclusion for Pregnant Women to the income range above and from 60-days postpartum to 12-months postpartum; (3) Add American Indian/Alaska Native members with IHS creditable coverage under the Demonstration for the purpose of enrolling on a voluntary basis in the PCMH model; and (4) Exclude individuals in risk-based managed care from the Demonstration, unless they are subject to the waiver of retroactive eligibility. The federal comment period will be open from March 16, 2023 through April 16, 2023.
