Today, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a resource for states to support their unwinding efforts after the COVID-19 public health emergency ends. This slide deck provides background information on ex parte renewal requirements and considerations, and offers strategies states can use to increase ex parte renewal rates, and other strategies to better automate eligibility renewals.
