On April 8 2022, the State of Tennessee submitted an amendment to their section 1115 demonstration, “TennCare III.” Tennessee is proposing to extend TennCare coverage to children adopted from state custody who do not qualify for Medicaid on the basis of receiving federal or state adoption assistance. The 30-day federal public comment period will be open from April 28, 2022 through May 28, 2022.
