New Hampshire is requesting to amend its Section 1115(a) demonstration titled “Substance Use Disorder Treatment Recovery and Access” (SUD TRA). New Hampshire is requesting to receive federal financial participation (FFP) for short-term, medically necessary inpatient, residential and other services provided to otherwise-eligible Medicaid beneficiaries aged 21-64 while residing in institutions for mental diseases (IMD) for diagnoses of serious mental illness (SMI).
