Live Today: Plan Year 2027 Marketplace Registration and Training for Returning Agents and Brokers

Required training for Plan Year 2027 is now available for returning agents and brokers who completed registration and training and have an active Agreement for Plan Year 2026. Training is available in English and Spanish. The optional Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) training and SHOP Agreement are also available.

CMS will provide more information soon for agents and brokers who did not complete registration and training for Plan Year 2026.

As a reminder, agents and brokers are required to complete Marketplace registration and training prior to assisting consumers with enrollment activities.

1. Log in to the CMS Enterprise Portal.
2. NEW: You will be required to link your Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Enterprise Portal account to a CMS-approved Credential Service Provider (CSP) (ID.me or Login.gov).

3. Update your information on your Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) agent/broker profile.
4. Complete the annual Marketplace training.
5. Read and accept the applicable Marketplace Agreement(s).
6. Print your 2027 Registration Completion Certificate.
7. Confirm your registration by using the Registration Completion List.

Throughout the registration process, you can use the Marketplace Registration Tracker to track your progress.

You can also take the Help On Demand training one business day after you complete your Marketplace registration, training, and agreements. Simply log back into the MLMS to complete this course and participate in Help On Demand! If you actively participated in Help On Demand during past years, you are not required to retake Help On Demand training. Your account will remain active as long as you complete Marketplace registration and training for Plan Year 2027. However, if you failed to consistently accept referrals, you may be required to retake Help On Demand training.
