Your guide to coverage

Congratulations on choosing a health plan! Here’s what you need to know to get the most out of your coverage.

  • Preventive services are available. All Marketplace plans must cover preventive services like blood pressure, cholesterol, and cancer screenings, help to quit smoking and eat healthy - at no cost to you. Take charge of your health and visit HealthFinder.gov to see all the ways you can stay healthy, including tips on nutrition and exercise!
  • Remember to pay your premium to your insurance company in full each month by the due date, so you don’t fall behind and risk losing your coverage.
  • Update your income and information if it changes. Report any life changes on your Marketplace application as soon as possible, like if your income goes up or down, you move to a new address, or you have a change in your household. These changes may affect your coverage or financial help.
  • Submit documents if the Marketplace asks for them. If you have been told you need to submit documents to confirm information on your application, follow the instructions found in your notice so you don’t lose your coverage or financial help.
