Plan Year 2025 Training and Registration Closes on July 11

Starting July 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. ET, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) will close (or “Go Dark”) in preparation for the launch of the Marketplace Plan Year 2026 registration and training. As a result, you won’t be able to complete registration and training for Plan Year 2025 after the MLMS closes on July 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Why should I complete registration and training? Complete Marketplace registration and training for Plan Year 2025 before the MLMS closes so you can take the shorter Marketplace training for Plan Year 2026 – which could save you valuable time as you prepare for the Plan Year 2026 Open Enrollment Period.

to-do list
Update your AB profile information in the MLMS
complete the PY 25 training for ABs
read and accept the applicable marketplace agreements in the mlms
print your 2025 registration completion certificate

Now is also a great time for you to confirm your CMS Enterprise Portal credentials and consider resetting your password to ensure your personal account remains confidential, private, and secure. Remember: you should never share this password with another individual, coworker, or agency.

You have two options for completing your training:

  • Through the MLMS, offered by CMS.
  • Through the CMS-approved vendors, HealthSherpa and INSX Cloud. If you choose this option, you must return to the MLMS to complete your registration.
