Attention: You may qualify for a Marketplace health plan. If someone in your household recently lost or was denied Medicaid coverage, you may be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in a health plan, but your time to apply is limited.

Visit HealthCare.gov today to create a Marketplace account, then apply for a Marketplace plan and see if you can get help paying for coverage. We’ll let you know right away if you can enroll in a plan with financial assistance. You may also be eligible for a $0 premium plan.

Apply for Health Coverage

If you already have a Marketplace application: Log in, select your current application, then select “Report a Life Change.” You can update your application to let us know if someone recently lost Medicaid or CHIP. If your current application is still “in progress,” simply complete and submit it.

Don’t delay: You only have 60 days from the time of the life event, like a denial or loss of Medicaid or CHIP, to enroll in a Marketplace plan.

Note: If you need to apply for coverage that starts on a date in the past, contact the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889-4325).
