Your Taxes and Help with Marketplace Costs

Remember: If you haven’t already filed your taxes, now’s the time to do so.

According to our records, you enrolled in a Marketplace health plan for 2025 and got help with your premium costs. You must file a federal income tax return for 2025 using information from the Form 1095-A we mailed to you. This is true even if you don’t normally have to file. To get an electronic copy of your Form 1095-A, log into HealthCare.gov, select your 2025 application, then select “Tax forms.”

Your 2025 tax return is how you’ll compare the amount of financial help you received and the actual amount you qualify for in 2025 based on your final income. If there’s a difference, it might affect the size of your refund or how much you owe on your tax return.

Important: File your income tax return by the April 15, 2026 deadline using the information on Form 1095-A we provided by mail or online. If you don’t do this, you might lose your help with premium costs in the future.
