Plan Year 2024 Marketplace registration and training is now available for returning agents and brokers who were registered for Plan Year 2023! The optional Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) training and SHOP agreement are also available.

 

You’re eligible to complete a shorter training. As a returning agent or broker, you will be automatically enrolled in the Marketplace training for returning agents and brokers, which is a shorter training that can be completed in as little as 60 minutes. You will also have the option to enroll in the full training for new agents and brokers, if desired.

Follow these steps to complete registration and training:

  1. Log in to the CMS Enterprise Portal
  2. Update your information on your Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) agent/broker profile
  3. Complete the annual Marketplace training
  4. Read and accept the applicable Marketplace Agreement(s)
  5. Print your 2024 Registration Completion Certificate
  6. Confirm your registration by using the Registration Completion List

 

Throughout the registration process, you can use the Marketplace Registration Tracker to track your progress.

You have two options for completing your training:

  • Through the MLMS, offered by CMS.
  • Through a CMS-approved vendor. If you choose the vendor option, you must return to the MLMS to complete your registration.

New for Plan Year 2024. Marketplace training this year features a streamlined look and feel that is easier to navigate and is now available on mobile devices! Additionally, later this year, Marketplace training will be available in Spanish on the MLMS.

You can also take the Help On Demand training one business day after you complete your Marketplace registration, training, and agreements. Simply log back into the MLMS to complete this course and participate in Help On Demand! If you actively participated in Help On Demand during past years, you are not required to retake Help On Demand training. Your account will remain active as long as you complete Marketplace registration and training for Plan Year 2024. However, if you failed to consistently accept referrals, you may be required to retake Help On Demand training.
