You might have questions about the enrollment process. Here are some frequently asked questions:
1. How do I complete the enrollment process?
Log in to HealthCare.gov to create an account and complete your application. Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll see if you qualify for financial help, the plans available to you, and their costs. And remember, once you submit your application, you only have 30 days to enroll in a plan.
2. How soon can my coverage start?
If you enroll by the end of the month, your coverage can start on June 1st.
3. Am I eligible for financial assistance?
Thanks to the new COVID relief law, more people than ever before will qualify for financial help with their health coverage, even those who weren’t eligible in the past. 4 out of 5 who enroll in a health plan through HealthCare.gov can find a plan for $10 or less per month, with financial assistance.
