Advanced Interviewing for IG Investigators (AIIGI-2301)

The IG ACADEMY has seats available in AIIGI-2301 scheduled for February 13-16, 2023, in College Station, Texas. The course will be held at the Residence Inn 720 University Drive, College Station, TX 77840. Rooms will be available for student lodging at the government rate of $98.00. The reservation link for the rooms will be sent to the students by the COB of on January 13, 2023.
If the course does not meet the minimum number of students needed to run it will be canceled. Seats are first come first serve with 12 seats currently available.
Description: Effectively plan law enforcement interviews, develop active rapport, establish, and maintain control of interviews, and handle denials. Develop and practice non-confrontational methods of interviewing. Topics include: interview techniques; planning law enforcement interviews; rapport development and theme presentations; handling denials and countering questions from the interview subject; special considerations for IG investigations; types of interview questions; identifying and analyzing physical and verbal behaviors; establishing and maintaining control of the interview; recorded interviews; interviewing laboratory and Case Studies.
