Dear 9th Annual CIGIE Leadership Forum Virtual Attendee:
We’re excited that you’re joining us for this year’s CIGIE Leadership Forum, being broadcast via YouTube Live Stream tomorrow, Wednesday, November 16 from 10:00am to 4:00pm EST, with live closed captioning. We recommend that you sign on early, between 9:30 – 9:55, to allow time to go through the sign in process and be ready to go at 10:00.

The Forum program booklet with speaker bios, a 2-page agenda, and the link to complete the forum evaluation and receive your CPE certificate are available on the 2022 CIGIE Leadership Forum Page at:

The above Leadership Forum YouTube link is active so you can test your ability to access it prior to the event, and it will show the title of the event. The below instructions outline a three-step process that we hope will ensure that you are able to connect to the Forum.
Please review the below instructions ahead of time to ensure that you can connect to the forum.
We want to do everything we can to ensure that you are prepared to successfully connect to the live stream of the 9th Annual CIGIE Leadership Forum, on Wednesday, November 16, 10:00am – 4:00pm EST. If for some reason you do have difficulty accessing the live stream of the Forum or otherwise can’t fully attend, we plan to record the event and post the video of the Forum on the CIGIE YouTube page (www.youtube.com/CIGIE) immediately following the event.
FIRST: Test to see if your agency permits access to the YouTube Live stream URL by going to: https://youtu.be/YiviJtGRW8o. If you were successfully able to view the page at this URL, which shows the name of the event, congratulations, you are prepared to live stream the Leadership Forum.
SECOND: If you were not able to successfully connect to the event URL, please contact your IT department immediately and ask if they will be able to unblock the URL in order for you and others from your OIG to be able to view the event on November 16. If you were successfully able to have the URL unblocked by your IT department, congratulations, you are prepared to live stream the Leadership Forum.
THIRD: If you were not able to successfully have the URL unblocked by your IT department, we recommend that you view the event via a personal connection/device if that is a possibility and with supervisor approval. It is recommended that you test the above URL on both the personal device and connection that you will be using.
Also, some browsers work better than others, so if you have trouble with your browser, perhaps try a different one.
If you are unable to connect to the live stream in any of the above manners, please contact david.gross@cigie.gov, and we will make every effort to find a solution.
There will be a chat function available during the live stream to allow you to engage with your fellow IG professionals, and there will also be chatroom moderators that can answer questions during the event – you will need to sign-in to YouTube to use this feature.
After the Forum please complete the evaluation form at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2022_CIGIE_Leadership_Forum
Once the evaluation is submitted, you will be redirected to the CPE certificate where you can enter your name and print/save your certificate. If you are not automatically redirected to the certificate or did not participate in the entire event, contact david.gross@cigie.gov to receive your CPE certificate. This event is 5.0 CPEs for full participation. Also, if you have trouble accessing the survey site from your work computer, please try it from a personal device.
