If you’re unable to access the above registration link from your work computer, check with your IT office to see if they can allow access to the smartsheetgov.com page. If not, please register from a personal device, but be sure to enter your work e-mail address in the registration form.
More information and the link to register will also be posted to our forum page at: https://www.ignet.gov/content/2022-leadership-forum. Registration will be open until 9:00 a.m. EST the day of the event, November 16.
There is no limit on the number of participants, so as long as you register by 9:00 a.m. on November 16, you’re guaranteed a virtual “seat” at the forum. We had more than 2,500 IG professionals attend virtually last year!
This Forum is about the “how,” not just the “why.” This year’s theme is Gearing Up: Leading Change to Make Our Work and Workplace More Effective, Innovative, and Impactful. We have been through a lot over the last two-plus years and now, we are at an inflection point, enhancing and sustaining significant change in how we approach our work, workplace, and workforce. How do we use the knowledge and experience we gained to gear up and break through to the next level?
You will hear and see knowledge, passion, and ideas that could help the IG Community as a whole or individual OIGs create breakthroughs that could make our work, workplaces, and workforce more effective, innovative, and impactful. This will include Leadership Talks given by your colleagues from a wide variety of OIGs, professional backgrounds, and positions. These will be short, high-impact talks – similar to TED Talks®. More information about the talks will be posted to the 2022 CIGIE Leadership Forum webpage as it becomes available.
Inspectors General scheduled to speak at this year’s forum include:
-
Allison C. Lerner Inspector General, National Science Foundation, and CIGIE Chair
-
The Honorable Mark Lee Greenblatt Inspector General, Department of the Interior, and CIGIE Vice Chair
-
The Honorable Larry D. Turner Inspector General, Department of Labor
To facilitate your virtual attendance: When you register, please check the box at the bottom of the registration form to receive a copy of your responses via an e-mail from Smartsheet that will include the YouTube link and instructions on how to access the event. If you don’t receive this e-mail in your inbox within a few minutes of registering, please check your junk and spam folders. It’s recommended that you test the YouTube link and contact your IT department if you are not able to access it. The formal program is 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. EST, with short breaks throughout the day. An announcement will be made prior to each break with the exact return time.
An estimated 5.0 CPEs will be awarded to those attending the entire forum. You’ll receive instructions on the day of the event on how to obtain your CPE certificate.
For additional information about the event, please contact me at david.gross@cigie.gov or the Leadership Forum Co-Chairs, Elise Stein at elise.stein@oig.hhs.gov or Jacqui Phillips at JPhillips@hudoig.gov. We hope to see you on November 16!
