We've reached the two-year mark of the CARES Act and the creation of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee
The last two years have been difficult for individuals, families, neighborhoods and the country.
This Sunday marks two years since the CARES Act was enacted to provide more than $2 trillion in financial relief to respond to the pandemic. The CARES Act also created the PRAC to conduct independent oversight of this spending, and coordinate efforts among the 21 federal Inspectors General that are our members.
We're following the money and tracking down fraudsters while innovating to help communities and watchdogs prepare for whatever comes next.
