Sales of new single-family houses in September 2024 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 738,000. This is 4.1 percent (+/- 14.7%)* above the revised August 2024 estimate of 709,000.

August 2024 (r): -2.3* % Change

(*)The 90% confidence interval includes zero. The Census Bureau does not have sufficient statistical evidence to conclude that the actual change is different from zero.

Estimates are adjusted for seasonal variation but not for price changes.
