2021 County Business Patterns and Nonemployer Statistics Combined Report is Now Available

The County Business Patterns and Nonemployer Statistics Combined Report was released on March 28. The Combined Report merges published County Business Patterns and Nonemployer Statistics data by industry to produce a more complete view of the economy.

County Business Patterns is an annual series that provides subnational economic data for establishments with paid employees by industry and employment size. This series includes the number of establishments, employment during the week of March 12, first quarter payroll, and annual payroll.

Nonemployer Statistics is an annual series that provides subnational economic data for U.S businesses with no paid employees by industry. This series includes the number of establishments and total receipts.
