Coming in March: The Annual Integrated Economic Survey
The new Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES) replaces seven annual economic surveys, streamlining reporting by consolidating all necessary questions into one convenient survey. It is designed to be easier for businesses to complete, result in better and more timely data, and allow the Census Bureau to operate more efficiently to reduce costs.
The AIES will replace the following surveys:
- Annual Capital Expenditures Survey
- Annual Retail Trade Survey
- Annual Survey of Manufactures
- Annual Wholesale Trade Survey
- Manufacturers’ Unfilled Orders Survey
- Report of Organization
- Service Annual Survey
Companies selected to participate in the new AIES will receive a survey invitation this March.
