Selected Population Tables and American Indian and Alaska Native Tables Data Release
The U.S. Census Bureau released Selected Population Tables and American Indian and Alaska Native Tables to the public on June 15. The data tables are released approximately every five years and provide the most detail for groups that are not published in the standard ACS 5-year estimates. This is the third time the Census Bureau has released these detailed 5-year ACS estimates.
The Census Bureau previewed this data release with a webinar on June 8.
Explore and Share ACS Code Repositories on GitHub
The American Community Survey Office has developed a GitHub page to share repositories of code for working with ACS data developed by data users. All programming languages are welcome! GitHub creates a space for increased collaboration, reaching new potential data users, and promoting open source projects. This will allow for increased knowledge sharing of different ways to work with ACS data. If you are interested in submitting code to the ACS GitHub, please submit an email to acso.users.support@census.gov.
