Louisiana's 211th Anniversary of Statehood

The results of the 2020 Census show that:

• 1,087,209 or 23.3% of people in Louisiana were under age 18. That's a decrease of 2.8% from 2010 to 2020.
• 322,549 or 6.9% of people in Louisiana reported Hispanic or Latino origin. That's an increase of 67.5% from 2010 to 2020.
