Maryland’s population grew 7% to 6,177,224 from 2010 to 2020.
The results of the 2020 Census show that:

1,362,022 or 22% of people in Maryland were under age 18. That's an increase of 0.7% from 2010 to 2020.

729,745 or 11.8% of people in Maryland reported Hispanic or Latino origin. That's an increase of 55.1% from 2010 to 2020.
