Georgia was among the top five states that gained the most population last decade.
The results of the 2020 Census show that:
- The total population of Georgia was 10,711,908 – an increase of 10.6% from 2010

1,123,457 or 10.5% of people in Georgia reported Hispanic or Latino origin – an increase of 31.6% from 2010
