Today is National Child's Day.  And, it's still American Education Week and Geography Awareness Week. Next week is National Family Week (celebrated during the week of Thanksgiving since 1972) and the beginning of The 2020 Holiday Season.

The majority of America’s 73.5M children under 18 live in households with two parents (70%). The second most common are children living with mother only (21%).

American Education Week: November 16-20

In the U.S., per student (public pre-K through 12th grade) spending was $12,612 in FY2018, a 3.4% increase from 2017, and enrollment was 48.6 million.

The 2017 Economic Census counted 7,757 surveying and mapping (except geophysical) establishments in the U.S. with 53,853 employees and a $3.0 billion annual payroll.
