Dear partners and collaborators,
This week the U.S. Census Bureau released a review of the 2020 Census Operational Plan Schedule that provides partners, stakeholders and the public updates on 2020 Census operations. The review illustrates some of the ways the Bureau is adapting operations to deliver the nation’s count by the statutory deadline of December 31, 2020.
With just over a month left to get a complete and accurate count of households across the nation, we need your help in sharing engaging digital content with your communities and stakeholders, and elevating the call-to-action to encourage everyone to respond online, by phone, or by mail.
New YouTube Playlist & Video Database Launch
To help support our stakeholders and the public, the Census Open Innovation Labs just launched a video database on accelerate.census.gov, where you’ll find over 400 videos from the Get Out the Count Video Prize Challenge to help get the word out about the 2020 Census.
In addition, a series of video compilations are now available in a single playlist on the U.S. Census Bureau’s official YouTube Channel.
These tools will help you find community generated content to reach specific hard-to-count communities. With the 2020 Census deadline fast approaching, filtering through hundreds of videos, and finding content that specifically speaks to your community could make the difference in getting a complete and accurate count for the 2020 Census.
