SIS Week - Wednesday

Statistics in Schools Week: Celebrate Diversity!

Celebrate diversity on Day 3 of Statistics in Schools Week: Everyone Counts! Use our Diversity Collage activity to show students how information from the census reveals the diversity in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the nation’s Island Areas.

As time allows, you can reinforce the day’s theme with an activity that uses census data to show our country’s diversity in characteristics such as language, education, and ancestry.

Access the Day 3 guide to get started, or explore the activities for every day of Statistics in Schools Week. You’ll also find Day 3 activities for Puerto Rico in Spanish.
