Today is Day 1 of Statistics in Schools Week: Everyone Counts! Join teachers nationwide in engaging students in hands-on activities that underscore the importance of the 2020 Census.

Today’s theme is “What is the 2020 Census?” Introduce the census to your class with the featured activities and videos for your grade level, such as activities involving counting for first graders and the use of census data for city planning for sixth graders. Access today’s teacher guide to get started, and take a look at what’s coming for the rest of the week.

We’re also offering Statistics in Schools Week, Day 1, activities specifically for Puerto Rico and the Island Areas.
