2020 Census Recruitment Campaign Kicks Off

The U.S. Census Bureau launched the nationwide 2020 Census recruitment campaign on Tuesday.

The campaign launched at the Census Bureau’s National Processing Center Paper Data Capture Center — West in Phoenix, but informational events are taking place across the country to answer questions about jobs and the hiring process.

The Census Bureau needs to hire about 500,000 census takers across the country in 2020. Peak recruiting efforts start now to meet this goal.
