Economic Census – We Need Your Help

As a valued supporter of the Economic Census in your
community, we are asking for your continued help.
The Census Bureau is still accepting responses to the 2017
Economic Census from businesses who have not yet submitted their information. As a trusted voice in your community, a message
from you has a strong and positive influence on local businesses. Please
share the message below with your membership.

with our mission to increase response to the Economic Census. As always, we will continue to reach out to
you and provide you with the latest information.
Economic Census – Your Response Makes a Difference
Completing the
Economic Census allows the U.S. Census Bureau to provide free and quality data
that can benefit your business. Your
response is not only required by law but it is valuable and important to our
organization as well. The Census Bureau began collecting responses to the
2017 Economic Census earlier this year. Although the official due date has
passed, responses are still being collected. Please take the time to respond if
you received a request for information.
Businesses in our
community who received the Economic Census but have not yet responded have
received two mailed past due notices with instructions on how to comply and get
assistance. In addition, the U.S. Census
Bureau emailed an official message to those who accessed their account but have
not yet completed their response. This message contains the subject line
“Important Notice from the U.S. Census Bureau”. If you have not received these notices, there is nothing for you to do
at this time.
