Many 9/11 responders and survivors continue to experience health conditions linked to their experience. The World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program remains committed to honoring their stories and raising public awareness of health conditions related to 9/11.

The Health Effects of 9/11 traveling exhibition, developed by the WTC Health Program in partnership with the David J. Sencer CDC Museum, examines the ongoing health effects of 9/11 exposures and the emergence of WTC-related health conditions. It also explores the advocacy that established the Program and the research achievements that have advanced medical treatment and knowledge. 

The exhibition will be on display at the New York University Langone Health from September 8 to 14, 2026. We encourage you to visit and explore the exhibition and its stories, portraits, and insights into 9/11's lasting health impact.
