Administrative Updates
Updated WTC Health Program Terms and Conditions for participating providers
The WTC Health Program recently updated its Terms and Conditions to Administrator (TPA) beginning later this year. WTC Health Program Participating Providers may receive communications with additional information about the updated Terms and Conditions, instructions on how to sign, and any next steps.
Accepting the updated Terms and Conditions is a requirement for participation as a Program provider. These updated Terms and Conditions do not impact any current agreements providers may have.
Reimbursement and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) sign-up:
WTC Health Program Participating Providers can receive payment for their services via EFT. This secure method of payment allows for faster and easier reimbursement. Providers are highly encouraged to sign up to avoid payment delays from the Program. CCE providers and participating providers can email for more information about reimbursements.

Approved benefit plans
The WTC Health Program uses benefit plans to determine the types of medical services members are eligible to receive. A member’s benefit plan is determined by their member status (Screening-eligible Survivor, Certified-eligible Survivor, Responder, FDNY Family member) and any certified WTC-related health conditions.
The types of benefit plans available include:
-
Survivor Screening Benefit Plan: covers a one-time initial health evaluation for screening-eligible survivors to determine whether the member has a WTC-related health condition and is eligible for follow-up monitoring and treatment benefits.
-
Monitoring Benefit Plan: covers annual monitoring exams for enrolled WTC Responders and Survivors with a certified WTC-related health condition (certified-eligible Survivor).
-
Diagnostic Benefit Plan: covers diagnostic services to all members to determine whether a condition is WTC-related. For screening-eligible Survivors without a certified condition, coverage is limited to the initial health evaluation period.
-
Treatment Benefit Plan: covers care for certified WTC-related health conditions, or health conditions medically associated with a certified WTC-related health condition; it also covers limited mental health treatment for FDNY family members.
