The New Orleans Field Division is responsible for ATF criminal enforcement and industry regulatory activities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. The work force is comprised of special agents, investigators, explosive enforcement officers, auditors, technicians and support staff. We encourage all residents to get involved and assist us in our goal of reducing crime in our neighborhoods by anonymously submitting information through our new ATF Tips app (Android and iOS), visiting the reportit website, submitting an anonymous form, or by reaching out to your local field office. New Press Release – New Orleans Man Sentenced to over 17 Years Imprisonment on Firearms Charge

Acting U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that KERMERIC JOHNSON, age 34, of New Orleans, was sentenced yesterday after previously pleading guilty to conspiracy to use a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. U.S. District Court Judge Lance M. Africk sentenced JOHNSON to 215 months of incarceration, to be followed by 5 years of supervised release.
