The Kansas City Field Division is responsible for ATF criminal enforcement and industry regulatory activities in the states of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. This field division’s special agents combat firearms violence by focusing their investigative efforts on armed violent offenders, career criminals, gun traffickers, violent gangs, and other criminal organizations. We encourage all residents to get involved and assist us in our goal of reducing crime in our neighborhoods by anonymously submitting information through our new ATF Tips app (Android and iOS), visiting the reportit website, submitting an anonymous form, or by reaching out to your local field office. New Press Release – Springfield Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Illegal Firearms

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Tom Larson, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Springfield, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for illegally possessing firearms. Christopher M. Behn, 40, of Springfield, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool to 15 years and eight months in federal prison without parole. Behn was sentenced as an armed career criminal due to his prior felony convictions.
