The San Francisco Field Division is ATF’s largest geographic division in the country. The San Francisco Field Division is responsible for criminal enforcement and industry regulatory operations throughout Northern California, from the Oregon border to Bakersfield, and the State of Nevada. The workforce is comprised of special agents, investigators, forensic auditors, technicians, support staff and contract workers. We encourage all residents to get involved and assist us in our goal of reducing crime in our neighborhoods by anonymously submitting information through our new ATF Tips app (Android and iOS), visiting the reportit website, submitting an anonymous form, or by reaching out to your local field office. New Reward Notice – $100,000 Total Reward for Information about San Pablo Avenue Fires

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the 3800 San Pablo Avenue Fires. On July 6, 2016, authorities responded to a six-alarm fire at the apartment complex development. Authorities responded again, on May 13, 2017, to a five-alarm fire at the San Pablo Avenue development. ATF is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the fire on July 6, 2016. ATF is also offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the fire on May 13, 2017.

 

New ATF News Release – ATF National Response Team Arrives to Provide Expertise on Four-Alarm Fire Investigation in Oakland

OAKLAND – Currently 22 members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ or ATF’s National Response Team arrived on scene today at 2302 Valdez Street in Oakland, California, to help investigate a four-alarm fire that occurred the morning of July 7. “ATF’s NRT is in the beginning stages of this investigation,” said Special Agent in Charge Jill Snyder, San Francisco Field Division. “Our focus is to provide our expertise on fire scene analysis to the Oakland Fire Department for their investigation. ATF approaches these scenes without any preconceptions about what may have happened, and we allow the evidence to guide us to a conclusion.”
