The Nashville Field Division encompasses the states of Tennessee and Alabama, from Music City USA to the Gulf Coast. The work force is comprised of special agents, industry operations investigators, auditors, technicians, intelligence analysts and administrative staff. New Press Release – Armed Career Criminal Sentenced to 15 Years for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Jackson, TN – Caricus Hendrix, 30, was sentenced to 180 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Lawrence J. Laurenzi, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, announced the sentence today.

Jackson, TN – Preston Bryson, 40, was sentenced to 180 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Lawrence J. Laurenzi, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, announced the sentence today.

 

New Press Release – Brandon Scott Woodley to Serve a Total of 138 Months in Prison Following Shooting in West Knoxville Hotel Parking Lot

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – On July 12, 2017, Brandon Scott Woodley, 35, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was sentenced by the Honorable Leon R. Jordan, Senior U.S. District Judge, to serve 120 months in prison for knowingly possessing ammunition after having been previously convicted of a felony. Woodley was convicted in December 2016 after a jury trial in federal court.

 

New Press Release – Five “Gangster Disciples” Violent Gang Members Sentenced to A Total of 1,334 Months in Federal Prison

Memphis, TN – The “Gangster Disciples” Chief of Security involved in the violent shooting that occurred at Hillview Apartments was sentenced to 263 months in federal prison. Lawrence J. Laurenzi, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, announced the sentence today. As Chief of Security, Edwin Carvin aka “Ren,” was responsible for ensuring the security of fellow gang members and providing protection from law enforcement or rival gangs. The Gangster Disciples are a violent criminal gang which began in the Chicago, Illinois area. In the 1970’s, the leaders of two different Chicago-based gangs, the Black Disciples and the Supreme Gangsters, aligned their respective groups and created the Gangster Disciples.
