The Baltimore Field Division is responsible for criminal enforcement and industry operations in the States of Maryland and Delaware. The workforce is comprised of special agents, industry operations investigators, intelligence research specialists, forensic auditors, technical operations officers and support staff. The Baltimore Field Division’s top priority is to address and investigate violent crime. New Press Release – Nine Alleged Baltimore BGF Members Indicted on Federal Racketeering and Drug Conspiracy Charges

Baltimore, Maryland –A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging nine defendants for conspiring to participate in a violent racketeering enterprise known as the Black Guerilla Family (BGF) gang. The superseding indictment, which was returned on November 9, 2016 and unsealed today, charges nine alleged BGF gang members with conspiring to violate federal racketeering and drug trafficking laws. Two defendants are also charged with conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering and murder in aid of racketeering, and one of those is also charged with using, carrying and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence; and the other is also charged with possession of ammunition by a felon and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

 

New Press Release – Baltimore Man Exiled to 10 Years in Federal Prison for Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Previously Convicted Felon

Baltimore, Maryland – U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz sentenced James Kingsborough, age 26, of Baltimore, Maryland, today to 10 years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Kingsborough was convicted by a federal jury on June 22, 2016.
