DPRR Community Link Newsletter Accepting Submissions We are accepting submissions for the April 2024 issue of Community Link from now until March 15. This edition focuses on Readiness and People and Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. We are looking for high-resolution photos and articles of up to 400 words with one or two photos. In the photo caption, please describe the event pictured, the title, the full names and ranks of people in the photo (if applicable) and the date the photo was taken. More to Be Done Campaign: Awareness Materials As part of our commitment to a more ready force, the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness launched the More to Be Done awareness campaign, signifying the ongoing journey toward a safer, more resilient community. This campaign reflects our collective commitment to tackling challenges head-on, preventing suicide and eliminating sexual harassment and sexual assault in Army formations. This dynamic collection of materials encompasses visually striking posters, detailed brochures, attention-commanding banners, pocket-size informational cards, and a host of digital resources. SAAPM 2024: Awareness Materials Nationwide, April is recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM). This year the Army’s campaign theme is “Change Through Unity: Empower. Protect. Prevent.” The 2024 SAAPM campaign highlights the importance of eliminating sexual assault and sexual harassment by working together to build a respectful culture for all. Each of us plays a critical role in strengthening the command climate by engaging in behaviors that protect others and in supporting one another to achieve personal and professional success.
